Are you an experienced, responsible bowhunter interested in helping manage Long Island’s growing deer population?

Long Island Wildlife Control is looking for skilled archers to participate in our suburban deer management program throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Archer Requirements

Applicants should:

• Hold a valid New York State hunting license and required bowhunting privileges.

• Be experienced and proficient with archery equipment.

• Follow all safety rules and applicable NYS DEC regulations.

• Be responsible, reliable, and respectful of homeowners and their property.

• Be capable of safely recovering, field-dressing, and transporting harvested deer.

• Must complete a pre-qualified shooting round to join.

Safety, professionalism, and ethical hunting practices are required at all times.
